by the premier timberframe builder in the U.S., Bensonwood Timberframe
Homes, of Walpole, New Hampshire.
The lodge area of Glenmora also offers a
library, reading, and quiet recreation area plus a private office
with internet access for guest use. But, if your internet
use starts to interfere with your outdoor experience, your privileges
will be revoked! You may also want to pull up a chair in front
of one of the two stone fireplaces, one inside and one outside,
or relax on the expansive porch overlooking the Rio Grande River.
The design of Glenmora provides a unique
and dramatic setting for special occasions or business retreats. Please
contact us about your special celebration, reunion, or executive
conference.
The name Glenmora comes from the name first
given the Broadacres Ranch
back in 1891. John Grant and his daughter, Elsie, who
emigrated from the Glasgow area of Scotland, homesteaded it. While
remembering the great history
of the ranch, Glenmora is now
poised to make history as the premiere dining destination on the
Rio Grande.
