Current Fishing Reports (update 05/04/06)

Rio Grande River - The Rio Grande River flows are currently at 1340 CFS. The river flow is increasing with our snow run off water. Water conditions are cloudy to muddy at the present time.

Rio Grande High Country Streams - Steams are partially opened, with fishing conditions moderately slow. High country fishing should be accessible in the next two to three weeks.

San Juan High Country lakes and streams - Open to partially open at this time, fishing conditions are moderately slow.

Broadacres Lakes - The Broadacres Lakes are open at this time with fishing conditions slow to moderately slow.

Shallow Creek - Shallow Creek is partially iced over and fishing conditions are slow.

For our 2006 season, Broadacres Ranch is excited to offer 4 new fishing opportunities for our guests!! Guests will be able to enjoy fishing on Miners Creek, Middle Creek, Clear Creek, and also be able to float the Rio Grande River in Broadacres' brand new Hyde drift boat or our new Aire raft. With all these new U.S. Forest Service Permits( Rio Grande National Forest) fishing will not only be spectacular on the ranch, but off the ranch as well!!
